We are a group dedicated to making art inspired by words - song, poetry, prose, quotations, and just weird things our friends have said.  All artwork submitted must be visual art - no literature and poetry, please, though you are welcome to submit it that our favorites gallery.  This group does not accept art theft. All images must be your own, and the quotes must be used on pieces that are not for sale/commission if the song or prose is quoted in its entirety. It's illegal to make money off someone else's work. I don't encourage it. At this time, membership is open and you may submit art to the galleries, which are sorted by what inspired you. Make sure that the quote/song/prose/etc is cited in your image or your artist's comments! Come, have fun, discuss! If you have any ideas that you'd like to see for the group, feel free to bring them up. I love new ideas.  |
